Philosophy

For the better part of 15 years I’ve been trying to straddle the line between creativity and efficiency. The designer strives to create high-quality unique experiences that help people. The analyst wants to reduce confusion (time & money) between designers, developers and product stakeholders.

I've had the opportunity to help brands such as Wilson Sporting Goods, Nike, and Kohls to create bespoke experiences focused on user engagement and solving unique businesses goals. I've also worked with startups in the insure-tech, education and cyber security industries with a focus on building robust features with reusable design systems to help support larger business goals and integrations.

More than anything I get energized from working with small teams who collaborate and punch above their weight!

We created a global security assessment and rating system that can be referenced and contributed to throughout Arctic Wolf’s product suite. This idea was sitting around in backlogs for over eight years…our team launched it in under six months! It was also a great opportunity to affect Arctic Wolf’s upcoming design-system refresh to a more modern aesthetic with better reusable patterns. We hit our quarterly metric goals in less than one week!

New design patterns to add security detail and context in a streamlined experience.

Case Studies

Arctic Wolf

Designs facilitate a completely new scoring model that’s leveraged throughout the entire Arctic Wolf landscape.

New design system to facilitate designers and engineers alike. Leaving less room for ambiguity and confusion!

Numerous new features like threat scanners, guides and file storage to help keep customers sticky.

A small five person team collaborated to create Wilson’s first ever customizable sporting good. We (painstakingly) created thousands of assets and worked with every facet of Wilson’s supply chain to create “Custom Gloves” for the end consumer. It continues to be an extremely successful program and platform for Wilson and has since expanded to various sports within the company.

Extensive prototyping to create a highly usable experience before any engineer hit a keystroke.

Deep dive discovery to help identify physical manufacturer limitations within the materials themselves.

Wilson Sports

Our work set a standard for usability and customization within Wilson’s expanded product offerings.

Every piece of leather, lace and individual stitch had to be hand-cut in Photoshop…creating thousands of assets.
